Nestled in the heart of Lowick village, our aim is to provide a place where we would love to holiday ourselves. We have thoughtfully furnished the self catering cottage to a high quality, providing all the modern amenities you need for a relaxed stay, utilising open plan living spaces while maintaining a separate bedroom & ensuite so you have peace and privacy, all within a warm and spacious atmosphere. The charmingly unique wooden cottage is a cosy retreat for 2 adults, and awaiting your arrival we have added some special little touches to “welcome you” in, from fresh flowers, homemade preserves, delicious home baking to a bottle of fizz.
There is a large decked area for your own personal use with plenty of garden furniture, so you can enjoy the sun while having your morning cuppas, afternoon teas, or a glass of something of an evening.
For the comfort of all our guests, Willow Cottage is a SMOKE FREE and PET FREE cottage. Our prices are fully inclusive, so no meter readings or bringing your own linen. A safe box, WiFi & Netflix are all provided with off road parking in our private carpark.
We even have an EV charging point conveniently on site, which is chargeable separately.

Willow Cottage is a self catering bungalow perfect for couples, with a wooden ramp and handrail leading up to a spacious outdoor decked sitting area, with plenty of garden furniture, plants, and a covered corner arbour to perhaps enjoy those G&T's in. The Utility Room is accessible from the decked area and houses an extra toilet, handbasin, washing machine, ironing & drying facilities. At the top of the ramp are a wide opening pair of front doors. Throughout, the cottage is level wooden flooring, with non-slip flooring in the ensuite shower room.
Willow Cottage is set back from the main road, with it's own outside decked area making it a great place to relax in and explore from.
Inside you will discover the open plan living, dining and kitchen areas thoughtfully designed for your comfort and ease of use, with a separate bedroom & ensuite shower room for your own privacy and peace during your stay.
The lounge area includes a pair of comfy twin sofas with plump cushions, throws and matching footstool, large digital/freeview TV, Netflix, WiFi, solid oak coffee table on wool rug, 2 standard reading lamps, plenty of sockets with convenient USB charging ports, oscillating tabletop fan & overhead fan, nest of side tables with an assortment of books, jigsaws, games and maps provided along with a selection of local information leaflets. Local artworks decorate the walls throughout the cottage. Wooden blinds and curtains furnish the large windows with lockable top openings.
An extendable solid oak table and 4 upholstered oak chairs complete the dining space.
The fully equipped modern kitchen area features a gas oven and hob with overhead extractor fan, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetiere and dishwasher, radio/CD player, and an extensive range of cutlery, crockery, glassware, pans and utensils giving you everything you need for your convenience and a relaxed self catering stay. We provide some teabags, coffee sachets, sugar, salt, pepper & spices, oil & vinegar, washing up liquid, cloth & scourer, dishwasher tablet, binbags, kitchen roll, cling film & tin foil as a convenient little starter for you.
A closing door takes you through to the separate bedroom with a solid oak double bed with deep mattress, 2 matching bedside cabinets with lamps, oak tallboy drawer unit with illuminated vanity mirror, wall mirror and lamp, and wardrobe complete with a selection of hangers. Fluffy towels, Egyptian cotton bed linen, Egyptian cotton bathrobes with guest slippers, hairdryer and an electric safe are provided for your use. The modern ensuite shower room has an extra large shower cubicle, powerful shower, hand washbasin, WC, heated towel rail, shaver point and illuminated mirror, 2 units for your own products, along with a selection of complimentary "Duck Island" luxury bathroom toiletries for you to use and enjoy.
Electricity, gas, oil central heating and WiFi are included in the price.
The large outdoor decked area for your own personal use has plenty of garden furniture, an assortment of plants and a stained glass adorned corner sitting arbour, a wooden table with 4 chairs & cushions, a large parasol, solar evening lighting, and leads to the utility room. This houses the washing machine, airing facilities, iron and ironing board, wash hand basin, WC, and pegs for the outside retractable washing line.
Willow Cottage has ample off road parking for you in our own private large gravelled car park with your own dedicated parking space, with flagged path and hard standing at base of ramp for ease of access, if required.
We also have an EV charging point for your convenience (with chargeable usage cost involved).
Please note awaiting your arrival there is a complimentary small milk already in the fridge, with starter supplies of some teabags, coffee & sugar, seasonings & spices, along with some loo & kitchen roll, foil & cling film, washing up liquid and cloth, a dishwasher tablet, bin bags and cleaning materials for you to use whilst you stay at Willow Cottage.
