Jane, a wildlife artist, and her husband Darren have created a property with a cosy and comfortable interior. Bed linen, towels electric and heating is all included. Local produce can be pre-ordered via the owners to be awaiting your arrival. Jane's art decorates the walls of the cottage and you can visit Jane in her studio.
It is an excellent cottage to discover the outstanding Northumbrian countryside from, being equidistant from Edinburgh and Newcastle, and to retreat back to after a day's exploration.
Visit Holy Island with St.Cuthbert's influence, the Farne Islands and their colonies of birds and grey seals. Howick and Alnwick Gardens for 2 different garden experiences, and the Cheviot Hills for great walking.
Try beachcombing on a choice of fantastic unspoiled white beaches, play golf on superb local links courses, visit any one of the many historic sites and castles, with bird-watching, horse riding and fishing all possible nearby.
